Aircraft Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Fronds at Frequented California Coast

An aircraft hovering near a popular California beach unexpectedly began spiraling uncontrollably, finally losing altitude and crashing into a line of palm groves as spectators watched.

Recordings uploaded online capture the chopper commencing to spiral near Huntington Beach then descending in the direction of the edge of the coast, where it becomes wedged among palm trees and a staircase close to the coastal road.

First Aid Details

Emergency responders stated five people were taken to hospital comprising two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the accident on that day.

Three individuals on the pavement were harmed. Information on their injuries were still under review.

The cause of the crash was not yet disclosed.
